We produce the soap sold by seaturtles.org for fundraising; with all profits going to seaturtles.org. Bar soap is a perfect fit with this organization as an easy step each of us can easily do to prevent trash that kills marine life from getting to the ocean....Stop using liquid soap in plastic bottles and just use natural, 100% biodegradeable bar soap packaged in recycled paper! Special thanks for Joey's Corner, San Francisco for donating the design!
We are actively involved on a personal and professional level with Senior Coastsiders in Half Moon Bay and regularly donate soap ends for the seniors for personal hygiene and giftbaskets for fundraising. We also give of our time to help with home repairs and other projects.
Route One Pumpkins supports our local Salvation Army - and some homeless shelters - with odd-sized soap remnants as well as pilot batches that are excellent quality soaps, but may not meet our scent or color standards. We also donate unused and unopened lotions, as available. We have donated a gift basket full of our newest soaps and body butters for their August Flower Power Silent Auction fundraiser.
B4BC recognizes the growing need to support the breast cancer community, now with over 2.6 million survivors in the U.S. alone. In 2009, the B4BC Survivorship Fund was established to connect breast cancer survivors with nature-based wellness experiences that enhance their path of healing and long-term survivorship. The Yosemite Retreat granted 14 breast cancer survivors with the opportunity to attend a wellness-retreat in Yosemite National Park, May 17th - 19th, 2013, hosted by breast cancer survivor, Laura Milstead.
